Die Basisstufe wird durch die "Foundation Level" Ausbildung abgedeckt. Als Abschluss der "Foundation Level" Ausbildung kann durch eine Prüfung bei einer unabhängigen Zertifizierungsstelle (iSQI in Deutschland) ein "Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering – Foundation Level" Zertifikat erlangt werden.
