The purpose of this document is to provide programmers who wish to extend IRQA® 4 with an API which allows them to know all the functions available to work with IRQA® 4. Therefore, this document describes all the functions IRQA® 4 Plugins can implement.

A lock icon is displayed in a specific column representing the checked-in/checked-out status of the corresponding element. This plugin displays a new "Generate Test Runs" icon in the Test Scenarios view. The user will be able to select the different test scenarios that would like to execute in a specific test plan, and clicking on the Test Runs icon will create a new test scenario for each selected one, as child of the original one.

The IRQA Requirements Prioritization allows users to have a prioritization of elements based on ROI, in which -Beneficial attributes are weighted and added. -Disadvantageous attributes are weighted and subtracted -Each element is given an overall value -Elements are queued and sorted according to their overall value The IRQA Requirements Prioritization provides a graphical and textual representation of the results of the sorting, in which the weight of each attribute is represented with a different colour. The diagram represents from left to right the order of priority based on the calculation of the different attributes.

This plugin displays a new "Convert into Tests" icon in the Use Case view. The user will be able to select a set of use cases form the services view and clicking on the UC to Tests icon will create a new test scenario for each scenario related with the selected Use cases. Additionally, this Tests Scenarios will be related with the original Use Cases.

Description: The IRQA4 Traceability Parser Plugin is an IRQA4 Plugin that can parse an attribute, associated to a requirement or a test case, that contains textual traceability information and create traceability in the project accordingly. When using the IRQA Import tool to import requirements/test scenarios from MS Word document or an MS Excel document, traceability information (to other requirements or test scenarios) can sometime be found in the document. This textual traceability information can be imported in IRQA as a TEXT attribute associated to the requirement or test scenario. Once imported, the IRQA4 Traceability Parser Plugin can be used to parse the attribute, interpret any traceability information (using Regular Expressions) and create the corresponding traceability link in the project (if the elements exist). This plugin allows users with at least read only access rights to the information, to export the following elements and their relationships to XMI 2.1.1: Services and related service scenarios, Use Case diagrams, State diagrams, Concepts, Concept diagrams, Sequence diagrams, Actors. The generated XMI file is compatible with at least, the following design tools: MagicDraw and Visual Paradigm.
