Madrid, September 25th 2009. -Visure Solutions launches the new version of IRQA 4.1. Resulting from its constant commitment to innovation and leadership, the functionalities of this new version focus on two categories:
1) adaptation of the tool to the specific needs of each organisation and its processes, including user roles, and
2) the “open-ended” nature of the tool, which enables the use of different mechanisms for integration with other tools and importing/exporting.
These new functionalities have been included in this version as the result of a comprehensive market study based on customer requests, market trends, analyst opinions and recommendations by Visure's R&D team.
Within the first category, one of the main functionalities is the Role-Based User Interface , that is, an interface which allows the administrator to personalise views according to roles and allows each type of user to focus on the necessary activities for their daily activity, enormously facilitating the use of the tool.
Also within this first category we can find “aided traceability”, which helps the user to establish traces in a natural, simple and fast manner, in accordance with the traceability policy defined by the company, through IRQA's “block diagrams.”
Another relevant functionalilty is the Electronic Signature , which will allow users to sign the different project baselines in accordance with FDA standard 21 CFR Part 11.
Within the second category, the Plugin Support functionality is a powerful capability that will allow organisations to develop different tool bars, tabs and columns in a simple and easy manner.
This plugin support will, to a large degree, facilitate the creation of new integrations within the IRQA Integration Platform.
We can find the new Hyperlinks within the IRQA Integration Platform, which will allow external links to be established to any specific element of the project, for the purpose of both sending links via e-mail and reports or for making reference to elements from other life cycle tools. A simple click on the hyperlinks will open IRQA and display the element in question.
Visure supports other companies which have an increasing need to manage simple and integratable tools, due to which it has enhanced the export mechanisms , including diagrams and traceability matrices, in addition to the possibility of selecting corporate templates for exporting to MS Word.
Finally, IRQA includes an enormous improvement in information management, allowing description-related information to be stored in a compressed and encrypted format that will significantly increase application security and performance.
