IRQA eXchange is the definite XML exchange management control for data transfer between different RM tools.
With this mechanism, customer and supplier will be able to manage the same information without having to use the same RM tool! This XML based mechanism will allow information centric, tool independant, negotiations with the customer/supplier, which will result in self evaluated requirement tools, opposed to the previous imposed requirements format (and tool). From now on, you choose.
Project migration from one tool to another will now be as simple as a two step wizard with IRQA eXchange. If you are willing to change your RM tool, you will now have one more reason to do so (please, check our special conditions for other RM tools users. Contact us at: info@visuresolutions.com).
The XRI Viewer is a simple to use, web based viewer that displays the information contained in an XRI file. The user can navigate through the information through simple links.

IRQA eXchange provides in each case the interface to import and/or export the information to and from the supported RM tools.

If you are using another RM tool, and would like to see yours in this list, please contact us at: info@visuresolutions.com.
Specific interfaces for the supported RM tools will be in charge of exporting the following elements into an XML format:
This step is carried out through a specific Change Management Mechanism, which not only allows the user to import the information, but to identify the exact changes made to the input file.
This Change Management Mechanism identifies the NEW elements in the requirements specification, the MODIFIED elements and the UNCHANGED elements. This identification enables the user to keep a tight control over the changes, as he can choose from several options what to do with the modified elements.
The following window represents the last step of the Change Management Mechanism where the user can see the status of the imported elements, and can choose what to do with these:
This step exports the information contained in IRQA repositories into XML format. The exported elements are the following:
In this step, all the information gathered from the IRQA repository is inserted into the third party RM tool. This step is performed through an intuitive and easy interface, specifically designed for each one of the supported tools.
